Final Touch to your board preparation: PHYSICS

Dear Friends,
The CBSE PHYSICS board examination is scheduled on 5 March'13. Here are some steps to make sure your preparation is on right way.
STEP1: Do check the last three year board papers at least. See them, feel them and make yourself comfortable in handling a similar set of paper this year also.You can download them from here.
STEP2: Also see the marking scheme prescribed for them to get an idea of what to write  and how much to write.Download them from these links

VALUE BASED QUESTIONS: SUPPORT MATERIAL FOR XII SCIENCE



The Board has decided to assess students for 5 percent weighting in the major subjects (English, Hindi, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Accountancy, History, Geography, Business Studies, Entrepreneurship and Economics) in classes XI and XII through questions which will be integrated with the content of the subject and analysed on the basis of the values it reflects. The questions will be for 5 marks in a question paper of 100 marks and 3-4 marks in a question paper of 70-90 marks. This will be effective from the final examinations in classes XI and XII. The Board Exam in 2013 for Classes XII will also have such questions. Schools are requested to make it a part of their assessment in Grade XI.

Question Bank for JEE/NEET

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) provides question bank in their website to the state board HSC students who are preparing for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) and National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) entrance exams.
This is really a good initiative by them. Though most of questions are already available at different sources none the less a good initiative.

JEE MAIN APPLICATION CORRECTION

Final Chance for Correction in Data

It is again brought to the notice of all the aspirants and registered candidates of
JEE(Main)-2013 that one more chance for correction in their data (particulars) will be
on the website www.jeemain.nic.in for the said examination are advised to visit the website and verify their particulars. They are further advised to make correction in their particulars, if any, in their registration form. However, the change of city for examination and change of mode from computer based to pen & paper based is not allowed.This is the final chance given to the candidates to avoid any hardship. Therefore,the candidates are advised to make the corrections, if any, latest by 14.02.2013. Thereafter, no correction in particulars, whatsoever, will be entertained by the JEE unit under any circumstances.
