Admission to the B.S. Programme - 2017
Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore offers admission to its four-year Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Programme in 2017. Students who will appear for the 12th standard board examination (or equivalent) in 2017 and those who have passed this examination in 2016 are eligible to apply for admission to this Programme. Details of eligibility criteria and the selection process are provided at the "How to apply" page. On-line applications will be received at this web site via the "Online Application" link during February 1 - April 28, 2017.
To apply for admission to the Undergraduate Programme in the 2017-18 session, eligible candidates should complete the following tasks:
Filling the Application Form (available only online): The online application may be prepared and submitted by accessing the IISc website http://www.iisc.ernet.in/ug with effect from 01.02.2017. The online application must be submitted on or before 28.04.2017. The application fee is Rs. 500/- for GN/OBC/KM candidates and Rs. 250/- for SC/ST/PH categories.
Selection Process:
ƒ Selection for admission will be based on the Following Exams:
1. KVPY: KVPY-SA [appeared in 2015, and selected for the Fellowship]
KVPY-SB [appeared in 2016, and selected for the Fellowship]
KVPY-SX [appeared in 2016, and selected for the Fellowship]
2. IIT-JEE-Main: Appearing in 2017 and securing a minimum of 60% (GN), 54% (OBCNCL), And 30% (SC/ST/PH).
3. IIT-JEE-Advanced: Appearing in 2017 and securing a minimum of 60% (GN), 54% (OBCNCL), 30% (SC/ST/PH).
4. NEET-UG: Appearing in 2017
