JEE MAIN: CBSE ISSUES NOTICE TO RECTIFY FORM ERRORS


The notice mentions that few applicants for the JEE Main have not uploaded image(s) of their photograph / signature / thumb impression as per the guidelines stated by the CBSE.
Seeing the errors on part of many students, the SMS and e-mail to those candidates in this regard are being sent to their registered mobile phones and mail-id, so it is advised that all JEE candidates check for the same.
The receivers of these SMS or email are only to RE-LOGIN on the JEE (Main) website to rectify their errors by uploading the concerned image(s) properly. The last date to do so is 25th January 2014, as per the CBSE notification.
However to correct other particulars/Personal Data which the candidate might not have filled correctly can be corrected by logging on the website from 1st till 15th February 2014.
Upon receiving some requests from the candidates regarding clash of dates of Board's examination with the dates of Computer Based Examination of JEE (Main) – 2014, the CBSE has asked the affected candidates to send the copy of their admit card of class 12th by e-mail on www.jeemain@nic.in latest by 15th March 2014. In addition, the candidates must not forget to mention their application number of JEE (Main) - 2014.
Please be noted, the copies of Class 12th admit cards sent through post or on some other mail-ID will not be entertained. Such candidates will be allotted other available date of Computer Based Examination of JEE (Main) - 2014.

JEE Main FORM: You can correct your particulars in January


CBSE has decided to display the particulars of the JEE aspirants who have applied online for JEE Main in the second week of January next year so that they can rectify their incorrect particulars.
The move comes after it was found that candidates have committed mistakes while filling particulars in their online registration form, CBSE said in a statement today.
However, no corrections can be carried for changes in examination cities and option for change of mode of examination from computer-based examination (online) to pen- and-paper based examination, it said.
The online registration form has been made available on JEE Main website from November 8 December 15.
As per the new format, aspirants for IIT will have to appear for JEE Main and then for JEE Advance.
