Structure of the Test –NMAT (UG) 2013

The NMAT (UG) 2013 for would be an objective type multiple-choice test. (There will be 
no descriptive type of questions).
The NMAT (UG) 2013 will comprise of 3 major parts as follows:

Section	Subject	Number of Questions	Time
1	Proficiency in English Language	50	Composite Time of 120 Minutes for all test together
2	Quantitative & Numerical Ability	50
3	Reasoning & General Intelligence	50

Note: For each Question for which a wrong answer is marked, 1/4th of the marks allotted to that question will be deducted as penalty.

IMPORTANT TO ALL 12 APPEARING STUDENTS

All the aspirants and registered candidates of JEE(Main)-2013 are informed to log on the
and fill up their roll nos. of class 12th /qualifying examination. The
candidates who have wrongly entered the name of the board or wrongly entered the roll nos. may
also correct it now. The facility will be available till 12.00 midnight on 20.03.2013.

CBSE Students of Class XI and XII will be required to answer few value-based questions in their final examination from this academic session (2012-13). The questions will be for 5 marks in a paper of 100 marks and 3-4 marks in a question paper of 70-90 marks. Question Bank for JEE/NEET

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) provides question bank in their website to the state board HSC students who are preparing for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) and National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) entrance exams.

This is really a good initiative by them. Though most of questions are already available at different sources none the less a good initiative.

JEE MAIN APPLICATION CORRECTION

Final Chance for Correction in Data

It is again brought to the notice of all the aspirants and registered candidates of
JEE(Main)-2013 that one more chance for correction in their data (particulars) will be
on the website www.jeemain.nic.in for the said examination are advised to visit the website and verify their particulars. They are further advised to make correction in their particulars, if any, in their registration form. However, the change of city for examination and change of mode from computer based to pen & paper based is not allowed.This is the final chance given to the candidates to avoid any hardship. Therefore,the candidates are advised to make the corrections, if any, latest by 14.02.2013. Thereafter, no correction in particulars, whatsoever, will be entertained by the JEE unit under any circumstances.

CORRECTION FACILITY FOR CANDIDATES FROM 15 JAN TO 24 JAN,

THE TEXT OF THE NOTICE IS AS UNDER:
As notified earlier, it is again brought to the notice of all the aspirant and registered candidates of JEE (Main)-2013 that the facility for correction in their data (particulars) will be operational on the website www.jeemain.nic.in from 15.01.2013 to 24.01.2013. All the registered candidates for the said examination are advised to visit the website and verify their particulars. They are further advised to make correction in their particulars, if any, in their registration form. However, the change of city for examination and change of mode from computer based to pen & paper based is not allowed. Since, it is one time facility, extended to the candidates to avoid any hardship to them, the candidates are advised to make the corrections, if any, latest by 24.01.2013. Thereafter, no correction in particulars, whatsoever, will be entertained by the JEE Unit under any circumstances. The correction slip generated after corrections with the bank draft of additional amount (if applicable) and copy of earlier confirmation page is to be sent to JEE Unit on the address mentioned below so as to reach latest by 31.01.2013.
