PHYSICS AID RENAMED AS JEE AID

Well apart from counselling to help  you in your preparation for JEE I have renamed and redesigned my PHYSICS AID blog as JEE AID.

AIPMT 2015 DATE ANNOUNCED

CBSE has announced the date for AIPMT 2015.

AIPMT 2015 will be held on MAY 3, 2015. 

The eligibility conditions, syllabus, pattern, etc.will remain similar to
AIPMT 2014 as notified by the Medical Council of India which is
available on website www.aipmt.nic.in.

JEE ADVANCED 2015 DATE ANNOUNCED

IIT BOMBAY, the organising institute of JEE ADVANCED 2015 has announce the date of JEE Advanced 2015.

JEE ADVANCED 2015 will be on MAY 24,2015.

Two papers of three hours duration will be taken.

In the first hint of notifications regarding JEE ADVANCED 2015 JEE site has started displaying tentative dates.

On Popular Demand, IIT eases the board pecentile Norms

he Indian Institutes of Technology have eased the eligibility criteria for admissions, opening their doors to students who have scored at least 75% in class XII, even if they are not among the top 20% performers of their boards, provided they crack the entrance exam. This will be in addition to the top 20-percentile criterion, adopted two years ago at the behest of then HRD minister Kapil Sibal, the IIT Council decided in its meeting in Chennai on Monday. 

In other words,   an aspirant, who has cracked the entrance test, should either figure in the top 20% performers of the Class XII Board examination or score at least 75%, to be eligible for admission to IITs. In the case of SC/ST candidates, the cut-off will be 70% in board examination. The change, however, will not apply retrospectively.
