JEE ADVANCED RESULTS DECLARED

IIT Guwahati declared JEE ADVANCED results today.
The cutoff are extremely low this year only 20 % (72 Marks out of 372) for General , 18% for OBC, 10 % for SC/ST.

Aman Bansal of Jaipur is AIR1.
Jee website is not working properly and hence students are facing difficulty in viewing results.

  4. Sir, with an AIR of 373 in JEE Advanced 2016 , are Dual degree in CSE in IIT Madras, or Dual Degree in CSE in IIT Kharagpur good options for me?

    1. If you are sure about CSE no harm in five year but better will be a four year CS program.

    3. That's no problem. Placements especially the highest one's depends on students not 4 year or 5 year course.

    Sir i have an AIR of 3500...i like mechanical which i should get at hyderabad/gandhingr.but i may also get chemical at roorkee,bhu and guwahati.what will be better according to scope and placements

    1. Every stream has its own scope. If taking of placement Petroleum offers lore lucrative opportunities than even CSE.

    which is better civil in iit patna,mandi(mechanical in patna also avialable)
    or branch like ceramic& agriculture in bhu and kharagpur respectively
    plz suggest option apart from this also

    1. It depends on you entirely dear. Talk to senior students and find out the opportunities in them. I personally will prefer to go with older IITs and if not hesistant you can opt for earth sciences related streams in ISM.

    1. Any student would love to be in this confusion at your rank. Congratulations on your splendid performance. Just talk to senior students find out the course curriculum and opportunities and then take a decision.Its not written in bible or geeta to go for CSE only.

    Sir, which one is the best option: 4 year CSE IIT Roorkee (OR) 4 year Electrical in IIT (Madras or Kanpur or Kharagpur), provided I am not particular about branch?

    1. Dear just explore more about the colleges and program and then join for the one you feel more interested in. All of them are very good programs.

    Sir, I got Jee ADV AIR around 2300 and Jee main air around 3800. Now I may get iit kgp chemical as well as industrial & Iit bhu mech. And nit Warangal mechanical. Whic is d best??
